Narrative Gen
Automatically generate activity reports using artificial intelligence.
What Is Narrative Gen?
The activity report (also called a "narrative report" or "directors' report") is a document that describes what your nonprofit (ASBL) did during the year: which activities were organized, how many people participated, which objectives were achieved, etc. This report often accompanies the annual accounts.
Narrative Gen uses artificial intelligence to draft this report automatically from your meeting minutes (the written records of your board meetings) and your accounting data.

Good to know — The activity report is not legally required for all nonprofits, but it is strongly recommended. Small and large ASBLs must include a board of directors' report in their annual accounts (Art. 3:48 CSA). This module helps you write it.
Generate a Report
- From Narrative Gen, click New Report.
- Provide the source data:
- Meeting minutes — copy-paste the text of your minutes or upload files
- Accounting data — a summary of income and expenses for the fiscal year
- The AI analyzes the documents and generates a structured report with clear sections (activities completed, financial summary, outlook).
- The report is ready to be included in your annual accounts or sent to your members.
Edit and Regenerate
- Edit: modify the generated text directly in the interface — add, delete, or rephrase passages.
- Regenerate: request a new version if the result does not meet your expectations — the AI will produce a different text.
