What Is Board Guardian?
Managing a nonprofit (ASBL) means complying with many legal obligations: declaring the UBO register, filing annual accounts, publishing in the Belgian Official Gazette, paying the patrimony tax... Board Guardian monitors all these deadlines for you and sends you alerts before it is too late.
Compliance Score
Board Guardian calculates a score from 0 to 100 that reflects the "legal health" of your nonprofit. The higher the score, the better your compliance:

Alert Types
Alerts are classified by severity to help you prioritize:
- 🔴 Critical (red): immediate action required (e.g., UBO declaration expired)
- 🟠 Urgent (orange): deadline within 30 days (e.g., patrimony tax to file)
- 🟡 Warning (yellow): monitor soon (e.g., administrator mandate nearing expiration)
- 🔵 Info (blue): general information, no action required
Tracked Alerts
Board Guardian automatically monitors:
- UBO declaration — annual renewal deadline (Law of 18 September 2017)
- Administrator mandates — expiration date of each mandate
- Belgian Official Gazette publications — forms to file (Art. 2:9 CSA)
- Annual accounts — filing within 7 months after fiscal year close (Art. 3:47 CSA)
- Patrimony tax — March 31 deadline (Art. 187.3 Inheritance Tax Code)
- Number of administrators — minimum 3 (Art. 9:5 CSA)
